The year is closing with many holidays and celebrations ahead, so while you prepare for a break from school and time with your family, this is also a great time to step back and assess your accomplishments in 2024. What are important successes for students?

• Strengthening reading comprehension
• Learning grammar and punctuation skills
• Improving spelling and learning new words
• Enjoying more challenging books
• Building stronger math skills
• Organizing homework, study times, and due dates
• Doing well on quizzes and tests
• Learning to take clear, effective notes
• Recognizing and overcoming obstacles
• Asking for help when you need it

These are all great accomplishments for any student to achieve. As a student, you need to know you cannot learn everything at once or on the first try.
