All Creatures Great and Small

Everyone in life has special traits that makes them unique. In the book All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot, Dr. James Herriot decides to be a veterinarian for a country town. When he arrives, he is originally unaccepted by most farmers because he was new and merely the assistant of a famous doctor they preferred. Throughout his life, he has helped many animals, many of which put him in difficult or weird situations. However, he is able to become a great veterinarian since he’s able to stay calm in terrible situations, like when a farmer got angry at him, he was covered in stomach acid, and he had to put a beloved old dog to sleep.
